ZAK
Color: Black
Date of Birth: 1999
Height: 13.2 hands

We bought Zak because he matched Sable's size and color. Had I known he was a mustang at heart, I would have thought twice. Clearly Zak wanted humans to leave him alone. He didn't want to be caught or ridden, and he was definitely the most difficult horse or pony that I have ever had to break. I had to illicit Lee, my husband, for help. Lee has a gift for groundwork training. It helped & Zak became good with me. I could trick ride on him, but it took three winters of work before one of my students could ride him. Now you see him as an awesome vaulting and roman riding horse. He even lets you catch him in the pasture if you know how to go about it. Zak's biggest show was at the 2008 CNE as a Roman Riding horse in the Hippike Production alongside his pal, Sable

SABLE
Color: Black
Date of Birth: 1997
Height: 13 hands

Sable, as a yearling in 1998, starred in "Pit Pony", a television series filmed on Cape Breton Island for two years. In 2000, he was in Jane Seymour's movie "Touching Wild Horses", filmed in Ontario. We actually had to "mother" him up to an orphaned baby colt to protect in a herd of wild horses and Sable did exactly that. In 2003, when the trick riding school began, Sable was a strong force in helping students. Sam Thurston of the "Thurston Gang" learned to trick ride on him and Zeke learned to Roman Ride, pairing Sable up with his pony. Sable's biggest audience was at the Canadian Finals Rodeo. So many young children rely on Sable with utmost trust.

In August of 2008, Sable put on a great show at the Toronto CNE in the Hippike Production with ten year old twins performing double tricks on him. In each finale, the twins laid him down and pretended to fall asleep on him. Through the applause, he stayed "sleeping" as all performers and riders cleared the arena and the lights dimmed. When the spotlight found Sable and the girls, they jumped up and all three ran out the gate. Sable and the girls were truly a hit!

cash CASH
Registered name: Azure Cashin' In
Azure Cashin In #:  X0596258
Color: Steel grey
DOB: May 2001
Height: 16 hands

Sired by Millionaire Playboy by Special Effort, and his dam is Sassy Go Te by Arctic Te. I hadn't thought of barrel racing for more than a decade when Cash came along. What a gifted, talented athlete! Still, he had his quirks. He wasn't the easiest to train, and when he got scared, he bucked! Cash once bucked going full out from the first barrel to the third barrel, kicking over his head. Good thing I inherited some of my dad's bronc riding genes.

In 2007 we went to jackpots and in July entered the Claresholm Turn Burn Earn Finals. Our last run of the weekend was a time of 15.247 seconds, which won it all, including my first saddle from him. In 2008, we won our second saddle by winnning the most points over 8 runs at Claresholm's facility, both indoor and outdoor. Cash continued to improve over the year on standard patterns, placing high when we went to the states in Kalispell Montana. Cash likes nothing better than when it is just him and me. In the fall of 2011, he won the 1D in the Irvine Tack Barrel Racing Series at Crossfield, Alberta. He is a very loving horse. His nick name is "Super Star

CHANCE - SOLD
Registered name: Feature Sun # 4002137
Color: Grey
Date of Birth: August 2000
Height: 16 hands

Sired by Feature Em Hulk going back to Page Bonanza, and Jansun ono the dam side. Chance knows that he is a star, with his big eyes and long mane and tail. He learns tricks easily, whether it be bowing, playing dead, or mounting on a pedestal. In April 2008, he learned to rear for the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie "Every Second Counts", starring Stephen Collins. Chance also is an exceptional trick riding horse, who will perform without a bridle. He has so much personality and superior intelligence, his thoughts can be easily read. His rider must be his good friend.

JESSIE JAMES (Bugs)
Registered name: Mr Magnolia Leo Bar
Color: Sorrel
Date of Birth: May 1998
Height: 15.1 hands

Jessie James is such a good looking quarter horse, he could be on the cover of AQHA magazine. Sired by Magnolia Super Bar going back to Three Bars and with Act Alive by Bugs Alive in 75 on the dam's side, we know the speed is there. He has a bit of an outlaw personality, hence his name. We purchased him in 2006. He was being used as a hazing horse, and was "hot" and a handful. Jessie James had been bucking and rearing riders off until Tyson Frank bought him. I know this horse would never have amounted to anything if Tyson hadn't come along. I inherited a handful. I still call him my "firecracker", but is he ever fun to run barrels on! He has mellowed a lot, but he still can live up to his name, "Outlaw Jessie James".

a SMOOTHIE - SOLD
Registered name: Shesa Smooth Saint # 3829996
Sire: Doc Santo
Dam: Herman's Nita
Color: Bay
Date of Birth: April 1998
Height: 14.3 hands

Smoothie has an extremely impressive lineage. She is sired by Doc Santo by Doc's Prescription by Doc Bar, and her dam is Herman's Nita by Docanita by Doc Bar. Smoothie has great confirmation. View Article about Smoothie Here »
Her first love is cutting cattle, and she excels at it. She and Falon love to cattle pen. Falon also trained her on barrels and has loaned her to Jerri to compete in rodeos for 2009. Her latest claim to fame is the star horse in the 2008 Hallmark Hall of Fame movie "Every Second Counts" starring Stephen Collins. She played Brooks horse in this movie about cattle penning. This is an extremely talented mare who gives her heart with every performance. However, she loves her own space and doesn't appreciate any other horse or rider entering it. In a crisis, she is all about saving herself. In her books, the rider can take care of herself! a

Bandit BANDIT - SOLD

Registered name: Unregistered
Sire:  N/A
Dam:  N/A
Color: Palomina
Date of Birth: 2007
Height: 14.2 hands

Colorful and well put together with a big hip and a good mind.  We could do five tricks on him as a 2yr. old.  At three, more tricks were added and he is good for vaulting.  Nothing bothers him and he runs a perfect barrel pattern.  He is a dark palomino with a long white mane.  Stunning!

Height: 15.2 hh

Spade, named after the marking on his forehead, is very athletic. Jerri started working with him in August and trained him to the left on barrels. He is running 1D times and has won a 2nd and a 5th so far at the High River ABRA jackpots. Look for good things to come on this horse.

SPARTACUS

Registered name: Red's Double Dot # 603458
Sire:  Red Express
Dam:  Miss Dee Doc
Color: Paint
Date of Birth: 2000
Height: 15.2 hands

Spartacus should be on canvas, he is that spectacular. His markings, his mane, and his eyes make him an outstanding horse. He should be a trick horse, but he has the talent to become anything. He is athletic, agile and trained on barrels.  He surprised me by winning huge at his first show in August, the 2009 JDP Classic! Spartacus flat flys and loves to turn barrels. His nick name is "High Voltage"!  At jackpots, he is running only a few tenths behind Cash in the 1D jackpots.  Mark my words, this horse will be a champion!. I enjoy his personality. He likes attention and loves being in the barn.
