Amanda

Cheyenne

Amanda is 9 years old. She has been riding since she was 3. Amanda began trickriding with Jerri 1 1/2 years ago. She purchased Cherokee, a flashy paint, from Jerri, and has been performing on him for two years. She enjoys school, reading and gymkhanas.
Cheyenne is Amanda's twin sister. She has been riding since she was 3. Cheyenne has been performing on Sable for a couple of years. She enjoys school, drawing and gymkhanas.
The twins enjoy trickriding, vaulting, and roman riding. The faster the horses go, the better they like it. |

Amy |
Amy is 12 years old and has been riding since she was 6. After watching Jerri's trickriding group perform at the Mane Event in Red Deer, she was hit with the trickriding bug. Amy enjoys riding both English and Western, participating in both Pony Club events and gymkhanas. |

Ashley |
Ashley, 21, has been around horses all her life. When she was young she decided to become a trickrider, so in June 2007 she moved to Carseland to train with Jerri. She brought with her a bay mare named Jazza that she raised from a filly. Jazza is an amazing mount with a ton of personality. Ashley also loves to rope and cattle pen. |

Austin |
Austin, age 12, has been riding since he was 2 years old. At age 4, he would ride along on his own horse with his dad during calving season. His goal is to perform each trick flawlessly and to perform at the Calgary Stampede. His favourite trick is the suicide drag, but he displays talent in vaulting routines and roman riding. |

Bradi |
Bradi, 21 years old, currently resides in Airdrie. She comes from a great rodeo family and loves the excitement of trick riding. |

Jewel |
Jewel, 7 years old, does an outstanding number of tricks on Sable. Her first love is trickriding, but she is also involved in gymkanas, cattle penning, and takes english riding lessons. Jewel, with her contagious personality, ensures everyone has a wonderful time. Nobody loves trickriding more than Jewel - just ask her! |
| Jordana |
Jordana, 16, works part time at Jerri and Lee's ranch after school and on weekends. This had led to a passion for trickriding and lots of practice. Jordana, while being a very good trickrider, is a big help during lessons. She excels in both english and western classes in 4-H. |

Jorgia |
Jorgia, 14, has been riding since she was 4 years old and trickriding since September 2004. She has wanted to be a trickrider since she saw the Jerri Duce Phillips Trick Riders perform at the Calgary Stampede. Jorgia excells in Roman Riding on Casey and Doc. Jorgia also participates in 4-H, figure skating and plays hockey. |

Kirstie |
Kirstie, born in 1988, has been riding all of her life. She is currently attending Mount Royal College where she is enrolled in the psychology program. For the past 3 years, Kirstie has been a member of the Calgary Stampede Showriders. She loves to barrel race and is thrilled to be completing a lifelong dream of learning to trick ride. Her companion and partner in this endeavor is her palamino horse, Dude. |

Shae-Lynn |
10 year old Shae-Lynn has been riding horses since she was 4. She went to the Okotoks rodeo in 2004 and ever since she wanted to be a trick rider. Now, she can hardly wait for her lessons every Saturday. She is using her skills to train a new horse. Shae-Lynn is Miss Congeniality of the trickriding troupe! |

Shayla |
Shayla, 10 years old, learned to trick ride on Jerri's pony "Sable", and is now riding her own pony "Sunny Dee". Her favorite trick is the hippadrome and she also loves Roman riding. She can't wait until her teachers and friends can watch her perform! |

Shelby |
Shelby , at age 16, has been trick riding for seven years. She uses two horses; Peppy is 6 and Williard is 5, both which were purchased from Jerri. After seeing trick riding at the Calgary Stampede, she was hooked! Jennifer Hay O'Neill helped her get started and then she began performing with her mentor Nikki Cammaert at age 9. In 2006, Shelby joined the school to learn vaulting, roman riding, and to perfect some of her tricks.
Selby competed at the 2006 Will Rogers Wild West Convention in Claremore, OK and won the 2006 Jr. Trick Riding competition.

Tory |
Tory, 7 years old, has been riding all of her life. She started trick riding on Sable (one of Jerri's horses) in May of 2008. Trick riding immediately became her passion. Tory also competes in Barrel Racing and Pole Bending and is learning to Goat Tie and Rope. She plays hockey, rides english, and enjoys school. |

The Thurston Gang - Sam, 11, Zeke 13, and Wyatt, 16, show grit and talent performing trick riding, trick roping, and roman riding. The group first came to the school in September of 2003 to learn the skills from Jerri.
One special highlight for the boys was the invitation to perform for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II during her visit to Alberta commemorating our 100th birthday. Click here for pictures/article about with the queen and here for an article written about their permance at the Williams Lake Rodeo.
Even more exciting than meeting the queen was being named the Best "Contract Act" for 2005 and 2007 by the CPRA! Congratulations to Zeke, Sam and Wyatt. |
